When your satellite phone has been connected, you will be allocated a standard US mobile number starting with +1, this is the phone number to dial to call your phone. We recommend using International formats to store and dial calls, which means your satellite phone number will be +1XXXXXXXXXX To call numbers from your handset you need to dial using the international format for example +1XXXXXXXXXX.
What number should I dial for emergency services?
911 is the emergency services number that is designated for emergency calls from all telephone networks in the United States. If you are traveling overseas and using your phone, you can call the international emergency number 112 wherever there is Iridium coverage available. This international emergency number will also work in the United States using any Pivotel satellite airtime plan.
What should I do if I misplace or have my phone stolen?
Contact Customer Care immediately on +1 865 379 8723 and they will bar your service to prevent the phone being used.
